Committed to Closing the Coverage Gap in Mississippi
Mississippi’s health care crisis has never been more urgent than it is today. Families have been denied basic care, and providers have closed their doors. Our state has rejected billions in available funding and failed to invest in job creation. Something must be done.
The Care4MS coalition brings dozens of Mississippi organizations together to extend access to quality, affordable health coverage and care. Together, we are bringing the health care crisis to the attention of state leaders. We’re uplifting the voices of Mississippi families denied access to lifesaving health care, as well as the voices of providers, small businesses, faith leaders, and other stakeholders. We champion policy solutions that:
- Ensure that hardworking families can get the health care they need
- Secure the financial stability of Mississippi health care providers
- Promote job creation and economic growth
- Leverage available federal funding to minimize the impact on Mississippi’s state budget
Mississippi can do better. If we challenge our leaders to work together to find solutions, we can stop hospital closures and improve access to care for Mississippi families.
